FHM November 2015: Sabado Nights Trick or Treat

Most of us have been dreaming of one day, she'll heed to millions of her fans to grace the covers of FHM. A decade and a half later and with close to a dozen Hot Moms who already did pose for FHM. It's now Ina Raymundo's turn to pose. 

What a nice cover to look at and enjoy on a Saturday (but its not yet available on stores yet!). Anyway, I'll be having my own copy. Ten copies perhaps (collector's item in the next 20 years).

FHM June 2015: Dreams do come true

When I saw a video clip of Maria Ozawa that she's here in the country, a lot of her fans (me included) were thinking why she's here and for what? One thing on my mind (my friends may think the same) is that I hope she would cover on a Men's Magazine. Any would do as long she's there. 


And dreams do really come true after all. ^_^

Sweet November Covers

With only a few weeks to go before Christmas, I believe you're also in a rush to do your list for the yuletide season (Just don't forget to help our fellow brothers and sisters that were ravaged by typhoon Yolanda in anyway you can). Like me, I make sure to give a gift to myself first as you also deserve it. What gift to give for yourself, here are some suggestions.

1. FHM Philippines (Danita Paner): This would be Danita's first sexy shoot as this rocker chick has finally graced the pages of FHM. While there's no denying that showbiz is in her blood, she prefers to perform onstage with her band.

2. Esquire Philippines (Cherrie Gil): A classy cover for the ages. I never imagined Ms Cherrie Gil would be in any Men's Magazine but hopefully, no copycats to follow. XD

3. Rogue (Angel Aquino): Dubbed as the Cinema Issue, I'm sure most of the contents inside would have something to do with the big screen of the past and the present. Hopefully, NO MMFF inside =P

4. UNO (Ellen Adarna): This would be Ellen's third cover since she graced the covers way back in 2008/2009. She would be the second three-time covergirl just next to Amanda Griffin. Rumors say that she'll be going back to Cebu for good so grab a copy of UNO X 90.

Oktoberfest: Your Covergirls this October

October is always synonymous with beer (Oktoberfest). But its also a good time to add up your collection (Men's Magazines). What to pick? Here are the options: 

1. FHM Philippines (Valerie "Bangs" Garcia): Bangs or should I say Valerie "Bangs" is now version 3.0 as they say she has already blossomed into a very fine sexy woman. Aside from that, she has a few talents to boost as I got to browse through my copy a few days back.

2. Esquire (US President Barrack Obama): I don't know if Esquire is running out of babes to cover or what... Seriously, it would be much better if they have interviewed the US President than just getting a transcript. Oh Well...

3. Rogue (Angel Jacob): I never imagined she would grace Rogue's cover this year (I was hoping she'd be on Rogue last year) but Thank God they did. ^_^

5. Playboy Philippines (Jobie Quinn): After PMOY Billy and Sky, its now Jobie's turn to grace the cover of Playboy. I haven't bought a copy but I'm sure its pretty interesting. As usual, you can pick any of the two covers again. XD

UNO X: A Decade of Hotness

Its only until now that UNO has released another cover. When was the last time they released one (The Fourplay Issue)? I know its this year but I couldn't recall when. 

And now, they celebrate a decade of hotness, a decade of class, and a decade of UNO's style. In their decade of hotness (issue) they've featured two-time sexiest from another well-known men's magazine Sam Pinto and model-dj-onetime columnist Jinri Park as their covergirls but on two separate covers.

Time really flies so fast! Yesterday was just summer, then all of a sudden, we pack our (I mean your) bags and head back to school. =P

FHM May Issue (Ryza Ceon): Its about time

Its still April and FHM's May issue is already out in the market so I got myself a copy and see for myself if this issue is above my expectations.

Honestly, its about time that Ryza have graced FHM as her co-Survivor LJ Reyes has already done it twice. Looking at the cover, the month of May would be getting hotter. XD

FHM Presents: Their 150th Issue

Almost thirteen years ago, FHM started it all with Alicia Silverstone as its covergirl. A hundred and fifty covers later, they are still without a doubt the leader in Men's Magazine now that they got this girl (or should I say woman) as their covergirl. 

I still recall the second time I attended the FHM's 100 sexiest party back in 2008 where in she promised each and everyone of her fans that she would grace the cover once she's voted as the sexiest (Number 1). However, year after year, we waited until she appeared on other men's magazine leaving most of us disheartened. Do you know who I am referring to?

Yes! I never imagined that Marian Rivera would pose for FHM after disappointing throngs of her fans in the past as she said she would never pose for FHM. Since 2008, its been almost five years since she promised us that she'll grace the cover and here she is... 

Its like a silent wish come true for me as my birthday is just around the corner. I hope I could get myself a copy and I might do a review of this issue once I could get my hands on a copy. XD

Your September Covers

Well, -ber months are here and the weather is getting pretty much cooler and cooler. Ever wonder who would be the covergirl/coverboy of you favorite magazines? Let me share you and my initial impressions.

1. FHM Philippines (Melissa Ricks): At last, she finally say yes to FHM after years of waiting. I guess this would be perfect to start our September.

2. Rogue (Olivia Medina): I have no Idea who she is but the cover is interesting with the Style + Design issue. I have yet to grab a copy as its not yet available.

Your August Covergirls

I don't know if I would be able to go home tonight with all roads flooded. Anyways, I was able to browse some of the magazine's covergirls (and man) for this month of August.

1. FHM Philippines (G Tongi): Since when was the last time she posed for FHM? Eleven years ago is it??? But its worth the wait as she welcomed FHM back with open arms. I remember I was still struggling in my career when she posed for FHM the first time.

4. Playboy Philippines (Iwa Moto): The former three-time FHM cover babe has moved not just from one TV station to another, she also gone for Playboy as well. I'm not complaining as I have yet to see the magazine from cover to cover. Also she has not one but two different cover for readers to choose from. Would choosing the best cover be that hard? XD

Now that the controversy with FHM is done and over with, its time to feature other men's magazine for the month of March. I'll try to post the other within the next few days so please do be patient. ^_^

And by the way, you may want to attend her Autograph Signing this coming Thursday (March 8) at Odyssey Gateway Mall from 5:30PM - 7:00PM

FHM's New Cover for March 2012

After the trouble FHM got no thanks to those MALICIOUS MORONS (apologies if you're included in here =P ), they have now released a new cover for their 12th anniversary issue.

Upon seeing this cover, I was quite dismayed that they replaced an art with a mediocre. They could have retained the caption "Stepping Out of the Shadows" since the layout has already been replaced. That caption actually means that she want to have her own identity and not just being tagged as another Padilla.

If you look at her pose, its so common, I recall some of the previous cover girls did the same pose but they were able to justify why they had to do it. I'm hoping the article on her would compensate for her cover. Imagine from WOW, it turned to WHAT?!?

I'd still buy the cover to further complete my collection and if for some reason they have leaked-out the previous cover, I'd buy it in a heartbeat as it will be a collectors item in the months to come.

I hope those MALICIOUS MORONS who defy what would have been considered art would buy the magazine as they have already got what they want.

I vividly recall how I started collecting FHM since 2000 and up to now, I never miss a single issue. Through the years, they keep on getting better and better. Having events open to everyone, no wonder FHM is really number one. XD

Out in your favorite bookstores and newstands next week, I can't wait to have a copy and to attend the autograph signing again. XD

UNO Just released their September issue on facebook. This is really surprising. And if these two magazines are different from each other aside from the cover, I'll get two definitely even if I know that I'll be burning a hole in my pocket.
