First, I'm NOT OBSESSED but rather fascinated and curious about it as I do take pictures almost every single day and I'm still under the learning curve. But others do live and breathe with it making them obviously obsessed right?
Anyway here are Ten Signs you are Obsessed with Photography plus some swabeng thoughts on each of them. I just saw this on facebook and I hope you do like reading it. XD
Are you Obsessed???
1. You can actually tell what kind of camera someone is using from over 30 feet away. - Its hard for me to tell since I don't have a 20-20 vision anymore unless I know you personally for sometime as well as your camera. XD
2. You have tried to claim “Photoshop” as a medical expense because it’s good therapy. - Uhm I haven't consider that yet. XD
3. When planning a vacation, your main concern is finding a hotel that offers WiFi so you’ll be able to upload your photos to the web, daily. - For me my main concern is what to shoot at when I'm on a different location. Editing and uploading for the web would be later =P.
4. You own more than one camera bag even though you only have one camera. - Well, I plan to buy a smaller camera bag soon.
5. You refer to cleaning up after dinner as “post-processing the kitchen.” - I don't know about that. =P
6. You can’t remember the date of your best friend’s birthday, but you know all the specs of your camera and lenses by heart. - Well, its tru at times XD
7. When attending a wedding, you are more interested in what the photographer is doing than what the bride and groom are doing. - True. I do observe their movements and how they do it so I could try them when I become a wedding photographer someday XD
8. When you see a photo of a model, you find yourself more interested in what lighting was used and how much processing may have been done. - True at times. But nothing beats natural light XD.
9. You understand that 22 is actually smaller than 5.6 - Very true. XD
10. When gazing upon a beautiful landscape you think to yourself, “That’s lovely, but it could use just a bit more saturation!” - True at times XD

Am I Obsessed now? XD
I can only relate to #3 and #7.
ReplyDelete#3 - Bull's eye! Also for checking in and Twitter :)) [only, since my phone doesn't have Instagram, only ThumbaCam]
#7 - good thing I didn't do that. Though I was tasked to be the photographer among us friends, so I was extra attentive to the ceremony :P
One more to add…When you look in the mirror and notice a few imperfections and you think to yourself…”well I can just photoshop that out”, hahhaha funny!!
ReplyDeleteHmmmm....6 out of 10...I guess I'm on the brink of being obsessed with photography. Not that I'm ashamed of it. :)
ReplyDeleteGuilty of #3. I used to look for places that have wi-fi for the occasional upload and check in.
ReplyDeleteWow! This list is so true! :D
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to purchase new DSLR this month! lol
Great list as always so at least I'm not yet obsessed with photography.
ReplyDeleteI may be doing some of your 10 signs, but I'm sure I'm not obsessed with photography...
ReplyDeleteI guess i am one of the very few bloggers who doesn't own a dslr. I rely on my ever dependable point-and-shoot camera :)But I always ask if the hotel has wifi to immediately upload raw photos.
ReplyDeleteI don't have dslr. Hope to get one someday.
ReplyDeleteNice list..I know I am not obsessed with photography but I would love to take pics
ReplyDeleteAnd taking photos of your food before eating it. A big sign.
ReplyDeleteI'm not a photography addict, but I have nothing against those who are :). To each his own, I guess. As long as one's fascination with photography doesn't interfere with his social interactions or with his health, I think it's ok :)
ReplyDeleteThis is funny because most can be true based on actuations of people who are really into photography.
ReplyDeleteWow, I am into photography but I only have some of the symptoms. Not totally obsessed here =)
ReplyDeleteYou're Getting there hahaha!
ReplyDeletecan't relate yet so hindi pa ako siguro addict. :-)
ReplyDeletevery true. nuff said
ReplyDeleteNot a bit of a Photo addict. Is there really people like that?
ReplyDeleteI am not materialistic, but when I see DSLR< gaaahhh, I could kill a person for envy...
ReplyDeleteI'd like to be obsessed with photography! Lol!
ReplyDeleteI therefore conclude, I am not obsessed! I don't even own a camera. hohoho! :p
ReplyDeleteI'm also obsessed of having several kinds of camera before. I just "broke" down for non-maintenance. I look taking pictures for pleasure, for experiment.
