Since I wasn't able to take much pictures during the Manila International Auto Show 2011, I made sure to maximize my rest days as well as talked to my colleague that I would take some more pictures on its last day (Sunday).
When I visited the 20th Transport Show on its second day (May 27), I got the liberty to shoot as much cars as I can as there were still a few people roaming around.
For a change, I used my 50mm prime lens since it works better at low light (with f/1.8) compared with my kit lens. But the challenge there was foot-zooming (adjusting my frame with the use of my two feet) so I had a fun time shooting.
After shooting cars, I got to shoot some models. Though I've seen most of them from previous carshows (which I took pictures of them already),
I got to take pictures of new models as well. I think my first visit ended a bit early as I need to go home and do some daddy duties.
Come final day, I went back at around 4:00pm to take pictures of models using my 50mm prime lens as my main lens. I kinda enjoyed taking pictures of the models though its much fun if you're with friends.
At the end of the event, I was able to enjoy myself with hundreds of shots I did for two days I hope I could do it again next year.
Here are the rest of the pictures. Till next year =P.

ReplyDeleteWow! Those are some lovely vintage cars! I don't know a lot when it comes to the car brands and models, but I really like most of these! If only vintage cars are easy to get a hold of and inexpensive to maintain XD Anyway, love all the shots here! I'm always tempted to use 50mm prime lens for food photography, but doing food shots in restaurants is a challenge because of foot zooming :))
