First Shot of the day XD
To be honest, staying there for 5 hours was NOT enough for me to cover everything XD.
This way
I got there at 9:45am but WTC was still closed so I had to kill time before the event started at exactly 10:00am. Once I got inside, I put out my camera and started shooting cars. That's right, cars first. From 10:00am to 12:00pm, I tried shooting cars from different perspective to exercise my eyes one more time as I haven't been shooting car shows in months. I contemplated whether to shoot in RAW or in JPEG but I sticked with JPEG for now since I needed all the disk space I could need. I focused on shooting cars as a whole instead of going through its details (my bad). I noticed that the venue reached until PTTC which covers more grounds for cars.
After shooting cars at WTC, I went to PTTC and I got there through a passage made for that event. There were posters about the history of some of the leading car manufacturers worldwide which lead me to the other side (PTTC). From there, custom-made cars were on display but since the venue was quite dim, I had to make some adjustments.
At around 12:00pm, I shifted my shooting to the carshow models. They are the real reason why carshows are a hit here in the Philippines whether we admit it or not XD.
I was almost on a shooting frenzy together with some of my friends as we also spotted some new faces that graced MIAS for the first time (I think). I noticed some faces that I usually see during carshows weren't there. They might have a different schedule compared to the ones I saw earlier.

Unfortunately, I have work today and I can't allot my whole day there in as much as I want to. Now I'm thinking of filing a leave just for MIAS 2012 next year XD
It was just less than 6 hours but I was still enjoy it despite the fact I have to go to work late =P.

I love car shows!! but only the cars not the ladies.. hehe .. baka ma insecure lang ako pag bf ko kasama ko at sa iba nakatingin! lol! ;)) ganda ng mga custom-made! I want one!! ;)
ReplyDeleteThanks Violy. Panalo talaga yung mga custom-made cars. As for the models, I have yet to choose and edit some, plus yung 2012 MIAS di pa ako nakakapagumpisa XD.

It's nicer, but it eats a lot of space..
So I normally stick with to the highest resolution possible.
Allows me to shoot more es when on the road.

I shoot RAW but not at carshows where I could shoot as much as 1000 shots in a single day.
