The Kasalang Batagueño-Ilocana Suppliers Rating (My Wife's Wedding Shoes)

This would be our contribution to the group. As much as possible, we won’t be using the word OC (since it has been overused here already) and we would detail our rating so it could serve you as a guide. Our verdict is based on how we coordinated with them (from start to finish) and it shouldn’t be a sole basis whether you book this certain supplier or not (different strokes for different folks). Here is how we would be rating our wedding team. Sorry for the very long delay XD

Wedding Kwento: Our hunt for her wedding shoes started as early as January 2009. Everytime we go out on a date or go to the mall, she makes it a point to bug me to go to various shoe stores week after week after week. Everytime she loves a certain pair, she feels sad because the shoe would be too large for her (her shoe size is 4-5). “Mas matagal nyang pinagisipan to kesa sa gown nya mismo kaya halos lingo-linggo, nasa shoe store nga kami”. Then she told me that she would pick Abbylyns as her supplier for bridal shoes which gave me a sign of relief.

She told me that her shoes were quite tight during the initial fitting as she mentioned that they were trying to see if she could walk properly with a 4-inch heel. When I initially saw it, I wasn’t amazed at all. But she liked her shoes. Then she went back to Abbylyn’s to add an additional platform so that she could walk well. When we went there to get her shoes (2 days before the wedding), she really liked her shoes and she was able to walk with it comfortably. 

Come wedding day, I never hear any complain from her that she's having a hard time walking on those shoes. She looked taller by at least 2 more inches and looked at ease when she walked.

Realization: If she hadn’t booked Abbylyn’s maybe we were still looking for her shoes until last week of November.

Recommended for: Brides who wanted a customized wedding shoes.

Other Suppliers Considered (Given the same amount of time for preparations): Probably any shoe store supplier that could have given her the right size XD
